The Knoxville Public Library will host author Linda McCann tomorrow.

McCann, who has written over twenty books about history in Iowa, will be speaking about the Civilian Conservation Corps and its ties to Marion County. McCann tells KNIA/KRLS News after a year of being in Marion County the CCC built over 350 dams, planted 88,000 square yards of ground and 700,000 trees in the area. McCann says the CCC camp was located where the current Knoxville Middle School is today.
