Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to return to much of the state Wednesday and Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts in excess of 80 MPH, up to baseball-size hail, and isolated tornadoes are all possible across most of the state during the afternoon and evening Wednesday. Additional severe weather is possible south of I-80 Thursday.
