KNIA/KRLS reported early this morning that four members of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce have resigned.

Since our report, we have learned that a fifth member resigned over the weekend. Chad Smith, Mike Roberts, Wes King, Ben Larmen and Jacob Hughes have all left the chamber since April. A chamber board member has also confirmed to KNIA/KRLS News that Jason Everly has accepted a spot on the board, which now has three open vacancies. Acting chamber President Rick Kingery tells KNIA/KRLS News a board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday and he chose not to comment until consulting with the remaining board members.
