Freedom For Youth Ministries in Knoxville will be conducting their Summer Sports Event starting on Monday July 10th and running through Friday, July 14th.

The event will be held at Auld Park and run from 2-4 p.m. each day. Basketball, soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, whiffle ball and baseball will be played as part of the event. Site Director for the Ministries, Kelsey Schippers tells KNIA/KRLS News on Saturday, July 15th from 5 to 7 p.m. the ministries will be conducting a grill out to cap off the week of fun. Schippers adds, the event is open for all children in kindergarten through 12th grade and is a chance for the Freedom for Youth Ministries to get out into the the community and have fun with the youth they are serving.
