Registration is ongoing for the 6th annual Red Rock Balloonfest 5K/10K.
Race organizer Mike Buchheit tells KNIA/KRLS News the race raises funds for cross country programs at Pella, Knoxville, and Pella Christian, as well as the Eagles soccer team. Buchheit says the route will begin at the Playscape and continue along the Volksweg Trail. The Balloonfest 5K/10K begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th at North Overlook Beach.
