Despite having a lead going into the bottom of the sixth, the Pleasantville Trojan softball team fell to the Lions of Des Moines Christian last night 8-6.

The Trojans got a pair of home runs from Corinne Thomas and Mackenzie McGriff to get ahead, but the Lions would come back and move on in regional play. Pleasantville ends their season with an 18-14 record, and will only graduate one senior from the squad, Hannah Hatch.

The Pleasantville baseball team also lost a heartbreaker last night to Southeast Warren, falling 6-5 in nine innings. Pleasantville is now 17-13 on the season and will wrap up their regular season tonight on the road to Iowa Christian Academy.
