The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session Monday.
The board will consider a request for a student fundraiser for Nationals. They will also consider a resolution ordering an election for potentially amending the current levy for the voter approved Physical Plant and Equipment Property Tax. The levy would be used to help fund a project to build eight new tennis courts where the current skate park is located and replace the current tennis courts at Youngs Park with a new skate park. The board will consider an agreement to make Snyder and Associates the lead consultant in the tennis courts project. Handbooks for students, teachers and coaches will also be considered as well as a branding standards and style guide for the district. The board will make administrative appointments and designations before considering the Iowa Association of School Boards legislative priorities. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Knoxville School’s Administration Building.
