Marion County Public Health and Straw Hat Farms are partnering to increase food access, and give public health patients, clients, visitors, and staff a chance to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Farm Stand will be open to the public every Wednesday through September, from 10 AM until noon and will be located at the Marion County Public Health Building at 2003 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville. A variety of fresh produce will be available, provided by Straw Hat Farms of Pleasantville

Marion County Public Health Director Kim Dorn, says, “food access has consistently been a top barrier to individuals served by staff at Marion County Public Health, over the past year. The Farm Stand will bring you healthy, fresh options during Knoxville’s WIC Clinic hours and provide a cool place for seniors to shop.”

Straw Hat Farms will accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers, cash, and debit cards. For more information about the Farm Stand contact Marion County Public Health.
