Former Knoxville Track and Field Standout Derek Seddon has been named the John Eberline Player of the Year by the William Penn University Booster Club. Seddon completed a stellar career at William Penn this spring. He was a two-time N-A-I-A All-American winning the national title in the discus, and was fifth in the indoor weight throw. Seddon also broke four school records and qualified for nationals in five different events. He won four Heart of America Athletic Conference titles and was a six-time Heart Field Athlete of the Week.
