During the Knoxville City Council Meeting on Monday, the council approved bid contracts for the 2017 Street Improvement Project.

City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News the city can say definitively that Robinson Street beginning at Highway 14 and ending at Kent Street will see repairs this summer. Adams says, a beginning date for the repairs to Robinson Street is still yet to be determined but additional work to Jackson Street could begin by the spring of 2018.
