Today we continue the countdown of the Top 10 sports stories of the 2016-2017 school year at Central College with number two.

A phenomenal weekend for the Central College wrestling team concluded on Mach 11th with a pair of top-five place-winners at the NCAA Division III wrestling championships.

At 125 pounds, C.J. Pestano wound up in fourth place and Cam Timok was fifth at 133 pounds. The duo earned the program’s 47th and 48th All-American honors. Timok became the 37th Dutch All-American and Pestano is now the 11th to earn it at least twice.

As a team, Central finished 18th – it’s second consecutive top 20 national finish.
