Pella High School is looking for a new softball coach.

Robin Llewellyn resigned after piloting the Lady Dutch for the last two seasons. While they went just 8-28 this summer, she is optimistic about the future of the program.

“If they’re willing to take that opportunity to develop more and continue to work in that offseason time, they don’t graduate anybody, and they’ll have an opportunity to jell a little more. You don’t like to think that just because we’re not graduating people and other people are that we’ll do better, but at the same time, other teams are losing some very valuable players.”

Pella Athletic Director Dale Otte says that the search is underway for Pella’s next softball coach, and anybody interested in applying can do so on the district’s website at PellaSchools.org.
