If there is one team in the area that is ready to return to making a playoff run it is Melcher-Dallas. The Saints return virtually all of their skill position from last season’s team that went four-and-five and finished fifth in the district. Paul Karpan will return at quarterback as he threw for over 1100 yards and 14 touchdowns. The entire receiving corps will be back this season as well as leading pass catcher Ethan Harrington who grabbed 43 receptions for 628 along with Blaise Cooper, who caught 27 passes for 388 yards. Karpan was also the Saints leading rusher last season with 840 and nine scores, he will also have the help Dalton Lovell and Sam Houston. The Saints kick off their season next Friday against English Valleys.
