Pella Community Ambulance has a new vehicle in service.
Pella Ambulance Board Member Don De Kock tells KNIA/KRLS News the new ambulance was purchased as part of an eight-year plan to keep vehicles up-to-date. De Kock says the new vehicle has additional safety features for both paramedics and the patients they are trying to help.
The new Pella Ambulance 916 will be used primarily for 911 calls and other emergencies, with two others in service for patient transfers and non-emergency calls.
