The Pella Aquatic Center held their final outdoor event of the summer season, and area dogs were invited.

Pella Aquatic Center Manager Alex Meyers says local puppies participated in the Doggie Dip swim Wednesday, which marks the end of the outdoor swimming season. Meyers says they saw an influx of swimmers this summer due to the dry skies for most of the season.
