The PCM Mustang girls cross country team would win the Gilbert invitational run at the iowa State University course last night by a strong nine points over West Marshall.

The boys placed 8th, while the Pleasantville boys and girls cross country teams placed 9th and 11th respectively. The Lady Mustangs had four girls place in the top 20, with Kirstin Ives placing 5th, Paytan Schutt in 8th, Baylee Smith 15th, and Megan Townley 20th and the Mustangs scored 77 total points. Mel Johnson led the Trojan girls squad with a 30th place finish. The Mustang boys were led by Jason Stafford in 19th, and Josh Pulse led the Trojan boys with a 13th place finish.
