The South Central Regional Airport Agency (SCRAA) has made a recommendation for an engineering firm to work on the regional airport project.

The SCRAA Board selected HDR, Inc. to handle designing and engineering the nearly $30 million airport, pending approval from the Federal Aviation Administration. HDR has handled the engineering services for the first five years of the project. The board interviewed both HDR, Inc. and Foth of Des Moines.
