Knoxville High School will be honoring the men and women in uniform, past and present at their first ever Military Appreciation Night this Friday.

The Knoxville High School Football Team is inviting all veterans to join them in the Panther Walk starting from the north side of the high school at 6:10 p.m. Head Football Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS News the school has had different groups join the team during the Panther Walk and he felt like it was time they did something for our local veterans, to honor and recognize them for all they have done and continue to do. Veterans who are unable to participate in the walk may join up with the team at the stadium at 6:35 pm. Veterans who join the team will be invited down to the field for warmups and to stand with the team during the national anthem and to be recognized for their service. All veterans will also receive free admission to the game.
