The Pella School Board heard reports from administrators for the first time this school year at their regular meeting Monday.

They heard updates about the school’s core curriculum, updates about the growth of enrollment at the elementary schools, and about new staff. Superintendent Greg Ebeling reported that early estimates show enrollment growth of approximately 30-35 students, but the certified enrollment won’t be official until October. This is the third consecutive year of growth in the district.

A construction update about progress at Pella High School will also given, including a tour of the upgrades to the facility. According to Estes Construction, substantial completion is expected by the end of October, with students able to now move through the entire building.
