Knoxville residents will have a chance tonight to learn more about their school board candidates.

The Knoxville Performing Arts Center will play host to the Meet the Candidates Night as well as the Proposition A forum. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. anyone interested in learning more about the eight new tennis courts and a full sized outdoor basketball court which will be constructed if Proposition A is approved will have the chance to ask questions and get more information during an open forum. Following the Proposition A forum candidates for the upcoming school board elections will be introduced and take their seats on the stage where they will be asked questions by the Iowa Association of School Board’s Harry Heigilenthal who will be moderating the event. The Meet the Candidates event will be broadcast live on 1320 AM and 95.3 FM KNIA beginning at 6:30 p.m.
