A Pleasantville man has been charged with 3rd degree burglary, a class D felony, following an incident which took place on July 12th.
Steven Seals, 24 of Pleasantville was arrested Monday following an incident in which Seals is alleged to have broken into a woman’s car and left an obscene note. According to court documents the victim told police she had received a phone call from Seals in which Seals had told the victim he was looking for her and had admitted to leaving the note in her car and then driving to her home and entering it without permission. The victim also informed police that Seals had told her she would be harmed or killed if he found her at her home with anyone else. Seals admitted to leaving the note inside the victim’s car but denied going to her home. On July 14th Seals allegedly grabbed the victim by the arm, leaving bruises. The victim stated to police she fears for her life and the life of her child because of the ongoing domestic abuse. Seals was also charged with domestic abuse assault second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, as well as tampering with a motor vehicle and probation violation. Seals was booked into the Marion County Jail.
