The Knoxville High School held their first ever Military Appreciation Night Friday night during the first home football game of the season.
Active and nonactive military were welcomed to the school to take part in different pregame events such at the Panther Walk and to stand with the team during the national anthem. A packed Ken Locke stadium cheered adamantly as the veterans were honored. With the veterans in attendance watching from the stands the Knoxville Panthers would go on to get their second win of the season in a 49-14 blowout of Fairfield.
