The Pleasantville Trojan football team stayed unbeaten Friday as the Trojans took care of the Centerville Big Reds 40-7.

The Trojans started the game stagnant on offense with a quick three and out. Following the three and out from Pleasantville, Centerville’s McCann Oden would gallop 54 yards for the first touchdown of the game. Little did the Big Reds know, but that would be their last score of the game as 12 seconds later Hunter Tyree would answer with a 63 yard run of his own to tie up the ball game at seven. The Pleasantville defense would get locked in with help of turnovers and penalties from the Big Reds and the Pleasantville offensive line would go to work scoring six rushing touchdowns on the night. Coach Graig Eichenberger tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team dealt with a few early game struggles but he was happy with how they responded. The Trojans are now 2-0 on the young year and will take on the 2-0 Road Runners of I-35 next Friday night in Pleasantville.
