A new group in Pella is giving tours of solar facilities in the community.

Jim Zaffiro of the newly formed Creation Care of Pella tells KNIA/KRLS News is working to become affiliated with Iowa Interfaith Power & Light, a group highlighting renewable energy as a way to protect natural resources. Brian Campbell says they will take anyone interested on a tour of solar power facilities at Central College, Vermeer, and the CIPCO REC array at Pella Cooperative Electric. The Creation Care of Pella solar tour begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 10th at the Central College Roe Center.
