The Knoxville Leadership Academy will be held tonight.

Tonight’s session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at City Hall. 20 participants have signed up to take part in the four week leadership course designed to give residents an opportunity to learn more about their local government while encouraging individuals to be more informed and inspired to effectively become more involved in their community. City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News if residents were unable to attend this first session people should let the city know they wish to participate so the city can decide if and when to hold the next sessions. The academy will run until Monday, October 2nd at which time participants recognized during the Knoxville City Council meeting.
