The PCM girls would pick up the meet championship last night at Chariton with four runners in the top 10, while Pella Christian led the area teams on the boys side with a runner-up finish.
Individually on the girls side, Pella Christian’s Emma Kolb was the individual champion to lead the Eagles, PCM was led by Baylee Smith in sixth place, Pleasantville had Mel Johnson finish in 23rd, and J’Lyn Knutson for Melcher-Dallas finished fourth individually. On the boys side, Pleasantville’s Josh Pulse led all area runners with a fourth place finish, Lucas Bandstra finished in seventh for the Eagles, PCM’s Jason Stafford was 14th, and Emery Sage led Melcher-Dallas in 20th.
