The 2017 Knoxville Homecoming King and Queen were crowned during the annual pep rally Thursday.

Nicholas Crouse and Kaley Iddings were named this year’s homecoming king and queen in front of a packed house at the Knoxville High School Gymnasium. Other members of the homecoming court recognized at Thursday’s pep rally included, Titius Chapman, Bret Johnson, Ben Wallace, Jon Zohlmann, Jada Agan, Grace Loscher, Cassidy Pearson and Tiffany VandeKamp. The homecoming king and queen will now preside over Friday’s homecoming parade.

Also on Friday the Knoxville alumni association will hold an alumni luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. At Dyer Hudson Hall at the Marion County Fairgrounds. Cost is $8.00 for non members and members get in free with doors opening at 10 a.m. This evening there will also be an alumni dance starting at 7:30 p.m. Nashville recording star Jason Brown will perform from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Cost for the dance is $5.
