The Knoxville Community Heritage Foundation will hold their first ever Heritage Halloween event on Saturday, October 28th.

Chairman of the Knoxville Heritage Foundation Marketing Committee, Dylan Morse tells KNIA/KRLS New the foundation wanted to do an event that would raise the awareness of the foundation, bring awareness to some of their projects and bring the community together. Morse says he hopes to see as many people as possible attend the event which he hopes is a great thing for Knoxville and a great time for everyone. The event will be held at the Grand Theater in Knoxville from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include food, drinks, a screening of the classic Mel Brooks film Young Frankenstein, and live music from The Surf Zombies. Cost is $25 for adults and $40 for couples. Attendees are encouraged to dress in a costume, but a costume is not required. There will be prizes for best and most creative costumes as well as raffle and auction items to bid on, with all proceeds going towards the foundation’s mission of supporting groups as they work to make Knoxville a better place to live.
