After falling in both matches against the Blue Devils of Martensdale-St. Mary’s in the regular season, the Pleasantville Trojan volleyball team won the one that counts last night on their home floor 3-0 in the first round of regional play.

The Trojans won game one in a nailbiter 25-21. but then pulled away in both games two and three 25-13 and 25-19 to seal the victory. Sam Entinger had 10 kills in the contest and had four aces from the service line, while Taylor Foley had nine kills and Katelyn Sandholdt was a perfect 20-20 in serves. The Trojans will now move on to play a tough Des Moines Christian team that is 21-8 on the season, on the road next Monday.
