A Pleasantville Meet the Candidates Night will held for at Webb Shadle Memorial Library on Monday.

The event is presented by the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce and is a chance for the residents of Pleasantville to meet their candidates running for Mayor and City Council. Clinton Wallace, A. J. Potter and Jordan Van Ness are all running for the two available spots on the city council and will all be in attendance. Mayor Bill Moore, who is running uncontested for reelection will also take part in the event. City Administrator Joe Mrstik tells KNIA/KRLS News he expects a questions and answers period and he says the last Meet the Candidates event featured a lot of difficult questions and he expects the same for this event. The Pleasantville Meet the Candidates Night will begin on Monday at 6 p.m.
