Knoxville’s Taylor Purvis was able to qualify in two events and was a part of three events that set school records as she will represent Indianola in the State Swimming Meet next week at Marshalltown. Purvis will swim in the 200 medley relay as they were fourth with a new school record of 1:53, she also qualified in the 100 backstroke. Purvis was also strong in the 200 free relay…while not making the state meet in that event, helped her team to a fifth place finish. Indianola is listed at 20th in the 200 medley relay and Purvis has the 22nd best qualifying time in the 100 backstroke.
