
The Knoxville Public Library will be hosting a mental health program titled “In Our Own Voice” on Thursday.
The program is being presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Director of the library, Roslin Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News the program will feature NAMI representatives who will speak about their experiences with mental illness and how there is hope and help for people suffering from all forms of mental illness. The program will feature a video presentation as well. The program will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
