A Veterans Day Flag Raising will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Thursday November 9th.

Veterans, as well as members from the American Legion, VFW and Boy and Girls Scouts will help raise the flags at 7 a.m. There will be a brief memorial tribute at the Veteran’s Plot after the flag raising. Post Commander for Baty Tucker Post 168 of the American Legion Curt Froyen tells KNIA/KRLS News the general public is invited to the event and he would love to see everyone come out and show support for local veterans. A free breakfast for participants will follow at the VFW. The flags will stay up until Monday, November 13th.
