The just completed girls swimming season at Indianola had several Knoxville athletes on the Indians squad. Taylor Purvis had a very good season making the state meet in two events, and setting four new school records during the season. Purvis tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it is a big commitment to swim at Indianola, along with keeping her other activities and school work in order. Purvis says her teammates from Indianola were very accepting of all the Knoxville swimmers. Purvis finished 24th with her team in the 200 medley relay, and she finished 21st 100 backstroke at last Saturday’s State Meet.
