Visitors are invited to the Marion County Historical Village for the Festival of Trees Celebration that begins today.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday attendees will have a chance to view over 40 trees on display. The festival will include live entertainment and demonstrations, a refreshment table as well as popcorn being served from the popcorn wagon, bake sales and silent auctions. A favorite tree contest will also be held with attendees being able to vote for their favorite tree by placing a donation in the container next to the tree of their choice. Proceeds will be donated to IMPACT Community Action Partnership. Admission to the festival is free; for more information contact the Marion County Historical Society.
