KNX Fitness and Training in Knoxville will host a Turkey Day 5k on Thanksgiving.
Chris Gordon owner of KNX Fitness and Training tells KNIA/KRLS News the route for the 5k will take runners down Main Street and Montgomery Street with the whole run staying downtown. Gordon says anyone can participate in the run, they just need to show up. He says KNX will also be accepting food donations during the event. Gordon says KNX is teaming up with the food bank of Iowa and KNIA/KRLS to help bring food to the less fortunate. The run will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday at the KNX Fitness and Training location on the square in downtown Knoxville.
