The Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau will make a special presentation at the Pella City Council meeting this evening.
The Pella CVB will present about how they plan to move forward as an organization and how they aim to promote tourism in the coming year. The council will also consider a change order to the Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant construction contract, approval of a final plat for Fairway Meadows at Bos Landen and conditional support for the project’s developer Bos Ridge, LLC.
Following regular business at Policy and Planning, the council will discuss upcoming funding requests for construction of a historical trail walk, a proposed dog park, hotel/motel tax distribution requests, a phase II sports park addition, and a request to pave 218th Avenue. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
