At this week’s meeting, the Pella City Council gave conditional approval of a new housing division near Bos Landen Golf Course that could add dozens of new homes to the community.

City Administrator Mike Nardini tells KNIA/KRLS News the council gave conditional support to Bos Ridge LLC as they work on building new houses in a neighborhood to be constructed just northwest of Bos Landen Golf Course.

Nardini says the council’s intention is to provide a tax rebate as an incentive to developers, which means the city, pending council approval, will provide for the cost of infrastructure on each property once they are occupied with a home.

Nardini says the Bos Ridge project fits in with the city’s goal to increase housing by 15% between 2015 to 2025. Hear more about the Bos Ridge housing project on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
