Small Business Saturday is a day set aside each year that falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday as a way to remind people to shop local. President of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Ben Butler tells KNIA/KRLS News people might think Knoxville doesn’t have many retail options but if they look around while they are out and about this weekend they might just find what they are looking for locally. Small Business Saturday began in 2010 at which time the #smallbusinesssaturday began as a way to help promote the annual shopping event.
