The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday.

The board approved a student program request from the Knoxville High School Student Senate to conduct a dodgeball tournament to help raise funds for Coaches vs Cancer. They approved the Voluntary Early Retirement Program and retirement packages before holding two learning sessions. The first learning session was for Knoxville Community School District Staff with the second for school district leadership. Both sessions featured questions on what the Knoxville School District could do to help improve learning for students in the district. Attendees of both sessions took turns answering the featured questions with responses being noted by school board members who will use the information during another learning session in January.
