On Tuesday, the Marion County Farm Bureau presented a check for $1,000 to KNIA/KRLS for the 16th Annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive.

President of the Marion County Farm Bureau Darrin Botkin tells KNIA/KRLS News the Farm Bureau wanted to donate the money because it’s what they do. Botkin says the bureau wants to help feed the county and they try to take care of their counties by donating food and money from the farmers. KNIA/KRLS continues to raise money and collect food to help fill local food shelves in Marion County. Additionally KNIA/KRLS is also hosting food drives in neighboring counties. Food collected in each county will stay in the county in which it is received.
