On Friday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of child endangerment allegations in the northwest part of Marion County.

An investigation was conducted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office along with the Iowa Department of Human Services. After the investigation was completed; it was determined that 36-year-old Travis John Coker knowingly acted in a manner that created a substantial risk to a child’s health and safety. Mr. Coker was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of child endangerment causing injury and transported to the Marion County Law Enforcement Center.
