The Pella School Board discussed tax increment financing for potential housing developments in the community at their meeting this week.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the City of Pella recently approached the board about extending a TIF program for potential housing units in the Bos Landen Golf Course area to incentive development and expansion of available homes.

Ebeling says the board, Pella City Council, and Marion County Board of Supervisors all have to approve the extension of the program for it to move forward.
