Those returning back from their Christmas celebrations and preparing to travel to New Year’s Day parties are reminded to do so safely.

Lt. Paul Haase with the Pella Police Department reminds everyone planning to be behind the wheel during this busy travel season to obey all traffic laws and to exercise patience in getting to their destination. Haase says numerous agencies both locally and statewide will have extra officers on the roadway to enforce traffic laws and keep everyone on the road safe this holiday season.
