A Windstream line has been cut in Knoxville and some residences and businesses are without service.

Crews fixing a water main break on First Street between Babbitt Street and Douglas Street reportedly cut the line Tuesday morning. Sources say Windstream could be down for several days as repairs are being made.

The Knoxville VA Outpatient clinic is OPEN but having computer and phone issues. If patients need to reach the clinic to cancel or reschedule an appointment please call the clinic administrator at 515-249-0551 or the Des Moines VA at 515-699-5999 and press zero for the operator. For all other needs, VA staff request patients fo please be patient until the phone lines are fixed or stop in.
