An 18-year-old Knoxville man was arrested Saturday for allegedly engaging in a sex act with a 13-year-old minor.

Brandon Rivas, 18, of Knoxville was arrested following an incident which occurred on November 25th. According to court documents on December 2nd law enforcement received a report that Rivas had engaged in a sex act with a minor in Knoxville. Following further investigation it was determined that Rivas did in fact engage in the sex act with the minor knowing the minor was only 13-years-old. Rivas was charged with 3rd degree sexual abuse, a class C felony.
