The city of Pleasantville will host a public informational meeting on the Jasper Street reconstruction project on January 9th at Memorial Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Pleasantville City Administrator Joe Mrstik tells KNIA/KRLS News Jasper Street leads to downtown Pleasantville and for the downtown to thrive the road needs to be improved. Mrstik says there have been many accidents on the road and if Pleasantville wants to continue to improve and grow something needs to be done. The meeting is an information meeting only with no formal action being taken. City staff along with representatives from Snyder & Associates will be on hand to answer questions about the project.
