Marion County first responders were called to a home in Tracy at approximately 3:30 this morning to the report of a burglary in progress.

Initial reports were an individual suffered a gunshot wound. Chief Deputy Troy Fisher tells KNIA/KRLS News that a man entered a home and was confronted by the homeowner. Both suffered lacerations, but there was no gunshot wound. Both men were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The alleged perpetrator is currently being booked into the Marion County jail. No names have been released, and the investigation continues. Clay Township Fire and Rescue, Knoxville Rescue, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and possibly other agencies responded to the scene.
