The City of Pella Parks Department has set the official opening date for the new ice skating rink at Caldwell Park.
Skaters can use the new space on Wednesday, January 3rd. Skate rentals will not be available this winter, however, the city plans to include those in future seasons. The rink was part of over $700,000 in improvements made to Caldwell Park, including the updated shelter house, pickleball courts, and skate park.
Facility Hours (Weather Permitting):
Monday-Saturday: 1p-8pm (Public open skate unless otherwise noted below for hockey)
–Hockey Times: Friday 7pm-10pm and Saturday 9am-11am
Sundays: 12p-6pm – Public Open Skate Only
