One of the improvements made with the Melcher-Dallas Girls Basketball Program this season was the addition of several freshmen to the team. This means two things for the Saints and Coach John Suntken. One, he has more players to work with in practice and can go five-on-five to give the girls a better idea of what will happen. Another is more depth. Suntken tells KNIA/KRLS Sports there is not one player that sticks out and he says that may be a good thing as they all are working hard to get playing time. The Saints are one of the first teams back in competition that they have a game on January fourth at Iowa Christian.
